Service was good. Very good cheeseburger. Old style diner and old music was softly playing in background. I recommend Dixie Maid Drive-In.

Amazing burger and fries! Definitely worth the extra few miles off the beaten path! We ordered 4 burgers and they were made fresh while we waited! Sooo good!

Stopped by was not disappointed! Delicious burgers, and perhaps the best onion rings in the local area. It's a walk up window, sort of a hole in the wall, but don't let the appearance fool you. The service is great and everything is cooked to order. All I can say is try it for yourself. It's all al a carte, so it can get pricey if you buy a burger, shake, and fries. But the burger is HUGE and it's a local business AND they have the flavor to back up the higher price so I really can't complain.

Their burgers are awesome. They are very meaty and they are also a great price. I would definitely recommend. The fries are also good.

These burgers are the best I've had in Baton Rouge and the hot sausage po boy is straight fire will be back.

Delicious homemade burgers. Big and filling, seasoned well, with the right proportion of condiments and toppings. tots are crispy and fresh. fountain drinks are mixed right and they have the good mini ice cubes.

I'm 41 years old and when I met my late husband back in 1997, I was 15 years old. He took me to Dixie Maid to get, what he said, was the best cheeseburger I'll ever eat in my life. And let me tell you.... It did not disappoint. It's been 9 years since he's been gone and I've thought of this little place many many times. I forgot where it was located and honestly thought it was closed down. But to my surprise, scrolling through yelp, HERE IT IS!!! I'll definitely be back.

Finally got to see what all the hype was about. The cheeseburger was massive and oh-so-delicious. It's truly just a fantastic, classic burger. Not over seasoned so you could taste all of the burger ingredients for a tapestry of good flavors. Not to mention, the price is excellent, too. We ordered lunch for work so I saw some of the seafood plates that also looked ridiculously appetizing. Anytime I finally getting around to trying a place that I obviously should have sooner, I regret not having done so. It's a little out of the way from where I live but I would absolutely make the drive to north BR for it. Burger fans, don't miss this one!

My uncle kept talking about this spot but I'm rarely on this side of town lately so when I ran errands that way, I decided to make time and go to Dixie Maid. A lot of folks will tell you that this place is in the hood. I understand what they mean but honestly, I'm cool with this spot. I placed my order via phone (it took 5 tries before I could get through to them, but I eventually did). She took my order, told me it'd be ready in 15 minutes and that they accepted cash only. When I pulled up there was a small scattered line waiting at the window. One lady got her order then I got mine right after. Large cheeseburger w/ no tomato, add bacon, tater tots for the side and a Dr. Pepper. This reminded me of a frequented local burger spot back home. The load your bag up with ketchup and napkins and they didn't forget the straw (which has been happening to me frequently since December.) I was eating while driving (more errands! Hahaha) and devoured the tots so there's no pic of that but that burger was great! Not greasy at all, not overstuffed with toppings. Nothing soggy. Just a delicious, perfectly cooked burger. I will definitely try to indulge in this more often. It was just that good. Thanks for the suggestion Yelp and Unc. Y'all didn't let me down.

Omg!!! This is my favorite spot for a burger meal. They're always busy but i never mind the wait. Just call and and pick up in 15 minutes. Idk what it is about Dixie Maid but this is the only place i can comfortably eat a burger from. And the Malts!!! Sheeesh forget the fries even tho those are good too. The burger and Malt is really all you need. And the workers are very nice
